What are the Effects of Anxiety

What are the Effects of Anxiety

Once the problems of anxiety, depression and insomnia become a problem it can be hard to reverse the effects.

But this is something you must do so that you can have that quality of life and wellbeing again.

Once your confidence has been lowered, it is hard to restore your way of thinking.

Some people have phantom feeling in their nervous system which can be uncomfortable, again this is set off by a way of thinking.

Your diet can change because you think your food needs to change.

Anorexia, overeating and food habits can be brought on by your way of thinking, and the longer they go on the harder it is for you to break the habit.

Some people may think they are not getting the right calories and they start concentrating on it so that their anxiety levels rise higher than what they should be.

They become ill with their way of thinking about food, they go on diets when they have no need to, while some people eat more than what is good for them.

Obsessive behaviour and believing that you are sick can also become a problem for some people.

The physical effects throughout the nervous system can be distressing for some people when they start feeling the nerves in their hand and feet.

When the brain is settled and people are thinking rationally, they don't give the nervous system a second thought, because they have no need to.

Going to the toilet more often than you normally do for awhile until you settle down again is not uncommon.

In order to understand what you are going through you need to understand what you are doing with your brain.

Checking your own pulse, heartbeat, blood pressure and other bodily functions can become a problem when people think there is something wrong.

They can raise their anxiety levels, because they don't understand how their bodies work.

When people are on a high, they think and move more quickly.

The body needs more oxygen in the organs such as the heart, brain, lungs and the muscles.

The adrenaline flows, the blood and oxygen circulates faster, and our sugars are broken down for energy.

Other organs such as the stomach the genitals and the skin can delay their tasks.

Faced with a perceived danger, the body produces adrenaline and similar hormones which sends messages via the nervous system from the brain, this is what gives the physical effects that are very unpleasant at the time.

Each person has different effects due to their own thought processes.

Over a period of time people may lose their job, house and many other things that they take for granted, thus losing even more confidence.

Life may seem upside down for a while, but given time they can settle down again.

Because anxiety is a natural reaction, it can be experienced in its mild form where it doesn't effect us for any length of time.

We may not even be aware that we have been suffering from  it.  That's because it has not caused us any problems.

But if it is concentrated on, it can exacerbate the feeling that you get with anxiety, depression and insomnia.

It becomes a problem when you can't cope with it and you are forced to go to your doctor.

If the illness is more serious, your doctor will treat you for the illness as they diagnose it.

A doctor will treat illnesses such as anxiety, depression and insomnia as a problem in your head.

Below are some of the words that have been used to describe these illnesses, they come from many sources.

These words have been used by all types of people to describe their feelings, and they are not unique to any particular person.

Below are some words that can be linked with anxiety, depression and insomnia

Again that comes from your way of thinking and within you head.

As we work our way through the sections that have been laid out on these pages, we can learn new ways that will improve our own mental and physical wellbeing.

Remember you mental wellbeing is very important for you.

It's a way of turning your life around so that you can cope no matter what problems you may face in the future.
