The effects on the brain

The effects on the brain

The brain sets in motion the fight and flight responses by preparing the persons body to stand and fight, or to flee.

The brain is a very important organ, without it we would not function in the way that we do.  It allows us to analyse, and it warns us of danger.  Sometime we go into the flight and fight response, and we fail to come out of it because we have forgotten how too.  We start producing too much adrenaline and other hormones when we do not need them.  We also become confused because of the body preparing itself for the fight or flight.  There is a need to turn this response off because we do not need it.

When we produce more adrenaline and other hormones we think faster, and we sometimes misinterpret things.  The brain has become very active sifting out what we are going through.  Anyone going through anxiety, depression or other stress related illnesses goes through their own feelings.  They are the person analysing with their brain.

Headaches are a regular problem with people who are going through stress as they try to analyse more than what they would normally do.  This is because they are producing more adrenaline and hormones.

Once the person is relaxed and settled, they will find that these headaches will go away.  It is caused by the fight and flight responses, and learning how to control them will also help to control the brain which also sends signals for our responses to the rest of our body.
