City life in Edinburgh covers the many other events that go on in the capital city. As a capital city, Edinburgh has many high profile visitors coming from all over the world to visit the new Scottish Parliament. It also holds annual events to remember the war dead along with a whole host of other annual events throughout the year.

Each year the General Assembly for the Church of Scotland takes place in the capital city of Scotland along with many other events. Scotland is a country of diversity and tolerance and hopes to remain that way. Every two years Edinburgh holds the Pride Scotia event, while St Giles Cathedral hosts the Festival Service and the St Andrew's Day Service. Edinburgh also holds the Holocaust Memorial Day service along with many other services throughout the year.
