The Decisions Unanimous

The Decisions Unanimous

In a few seconds thousands were dead,

all because of a Government head.

Nagasaki forget, but always remember,

the heat the wind and the sudden tremor.

Killing adults and kids lying in bed,

all because of a Government head.

The people still living remember the pain,

a firework display they don't want again.

Born to be free, then cut to the ground,

by force and a blast of deafening sound.

Nowhere to live, your life was blown away,

all because of the Government say.

Voice 1            Members of the committee, have you reached a decision yet,

all those in favour say Aye.

Voices             Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye,

VOICE 1          Then the decisions unanimous.

Voice 2            Yes Senator, we have the device on stand by,

although I must stress this has never been done before,

but, I propose we fly in above the clouds and release the device over the

                          enemy area.

Voice 1            And do you truly believe this action will end the war?

Voice 2           Yes I do.

Voice 1           Then I suggest you go ahead.

In a few seconds thousands were dead,

all because of a Government head.

Nagasaki forget, but always remember,

the heat the wind and the sudden tremor.

Killing adults and kids lying in bed,

all because of a Government head.
