Going backwards in to the future,

going forwards in to the past.

don't slow down because you're going too fast.

 

Watching the earth going around the moon,

I might be late if I go too soon.

The sky is dark, but it's only noon,

going backwards.

 

Tomorrow night was a boring day,

you only heard what I didn't say.

So I ran too you just to get away,

going backwards.

 

Stay by yourself, run with the pack.

you'll find that fiction is really a fact.

You feel so hot when the night is cold,

you feel so young, but you look so old.

You always do what you've not been told,

going backwards.

 

Mans polution make the air so clean,

the grass is blue and the sky is green.

Nobody's bad and everyone's mean,

going backwards.

 

Asleep all day, awake all night,

turn too the left if you wan't to go right.
