More trouble in the Middle East
The votes have been cast in Palestine and Hamas an Islamic Militant Group have won the power too run the country which must send shivers down a lot of people's back. Before the ink has dried on the ballot papers, Hamas has stated that they have no intention of recognising or negotiating with Israel.
How can they be taken seriously as a political party that is going to move forward in the process of world peace when an official makes a statement on their first day with a statement like that now that they have so much power?
The problems that will arise in the future must be quite obvious too most people who follow the politics in that part of the world. This might just be the beginning of the problems that will reverberate around the world.
This is going on while Iran has started up its nuclear program again, and no one is quite sure what they are up too as they secretly produce the capacity to produce the ultimate weapons that can create a barren wasteland wherever they are used.
We have tried to stabilise Iraq and Afghanistan, but that is not happening as fast as it should have been with Britain having to send up too another 3,500 more of our forces to Afghanistan to solve the problems of the resurgence of insurgence who want a real battle by using suicide bombers. So the problems that we may encounter shortly are far from over.
Each time something happens in these areas, I feel that we are getting sucked in deeper than we should be, and it may be time for a proper coalition too be set up with forces from every country becoming involved.
A lot of countries have decided not too get involved believing that appeasement will work and that we can negotiate with terrorists. That will never be the case, they have a set agenda which will only get worse as time moves on unless we sort it out now.
Peace in Europe and other parts of the world has become a reality as we move through historical terms. So we can't let countries that do not want peace dictate too any other country that is prepared to go down the road of negotiation and peaceful means.
I have not seen that happening in any of these countries over the years. They have not even made the effort as they threaten the stability of the planet we live on, and too do nothing would be as wrong as letting terrorist or militant groups run any country or use their agenda too create mayhem on whatever piece of land that they set their feet on.
We along with many other countries have to defend ourselves from the rise of militant or terrorist groups that openly make threats against any other country.
Not too do so would be crass stupidity. We have the ability to make change, and that's what we should be doing. We may not like what's going on, but it is a reality that we have too take seriously.
The Middle East and a lot of other countries are becoming a threat to world stability as each day moves on, and if we ignore it and do nothing about it, we will pay a heavy price for doing nothing.
The resurgence of insurgency in these countries has to be controlled and stopped now.
