The winner will be announced on Saturday 28 August 2010, at a lunchtime ceremony at the famous Spiegeltent, George Square Gardens. Opening the envelopes are last year's winner Tim Key and 1999 award winner Al Murray.
The awards prizes are:-
Best Comedy Show with a cash prize of £10,000
Best Newcomer with a cash prize of £5,000
Panel Prize with a cash prize of £5,000
