Flashmob: EIFF Patron Tilda Swinton and filmmaker Mark Cousins want you to join them in 8½ Foundation’s latest venture at the Festival, and it will certainly help if you have happy feet! Having travelled their happily ramshackle film festivals from pillar to post in the last couple of years, Mark and Tilda are now spreading love for world cinema amid the younger generation. We can now announce that we are delighted to be screening The White Balloon, one of the best children’s films ever made, in solidarity with its director Jafar Panah.
