World-renowned solo percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie at
Filmhouse in Edinburgh to introduce a screening
Touch the Sound.
The screening is part of the Made in Edinburgh programme, which showcases and celebrates the moving image industry talent based in the Edinburgh City Region. In Touch the Sound, which was co-produced by Leslie Hills and Trevor Davies of Edinburgh-based company Skyline Productions in 2004, award-winning director and cinematographer Thomas Riedelsheimer takes us on a journey through a universe of sound with Evelyn Glennie. The screening marks the launch of the film on DVD.
Both Evelyn Glennie and producer Leslie Hills will be at the Filmhouse to talk about their experiences of making the documentary and to take part in a question and answer session after the screening.
