Youth Music Theatre: UK brings new musical Missing Mel to the Fringe

Youth Music Theatre: UK’s 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Show is Missing Mel, the world premiere of a dramatic musical about a missing teenager and the impact her disappearance has on her peers. Socially relevant and cutting-edge, Missing Mel is a stylistic and quirky memorable new musical.

Directed by Pete Gallagher, Acting Coach on BBC One’s Any Dream Will Do and Strictly Come Dancing

40 talented young performers cast from nationwide auditions of 1000+
Lead character Kat is played by Jasmine Dey – first production with YMT: UK
Edinburgh-based contemporary and break dancer and choreographer Tony Mills (Random Aspekts, Freshmess) music theatre debut
Winners of 2007 Musical Theatre Matters Commendation for ensemble performance for Force 9½ in 2007, which received five star reviews

The performances are taking place from 13 – 16 August at 11.30am at George Square Theatre. There will be an extra performance on Friday 15 August at 8.30pm
