ARMY PLAY HAS EDINBURGH FRINGE IN ITS SIGHTS

British Army stages Edinburgh Fringe Festival show

 

 For the first time in its history, the Army in Scotland will join acts on the Edinburgh Fringe and put on a play reflecting the Army’s core values of courage, discipline, respect for others, integrity, loyalty and selfless commitment.  The Pipers’ Trail – part of an initiative to reposition the way the Army is perceived in society - has been performed to acclaim in towns and cities throughout Scotland since 17 June, and will now run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.   [Brigadier David Allfrey, commander of the Army in Scotland and the man who developed the script concept of the Pipers Trail].

EDINBURGH
