Monsters in Edinburgh for Hogmanay Events 2007

On the Night Afore events in Edinburgh 30 December 2007, giant monsters descended on the city intent on destroying the fun going on in the city for the New Year.  They started off in George Street and played with the people who had descended on the city to see what was going on.

There were giants ants, aliens, flying dragons and all sorts of strange looking creatures.  No one knew what their intentions were while they played on the street until almost midnight.  All went without incident and the organisers were able to take a break until the following night where Edinburgh's Organised Street Party was talking place.
