The Street Performer Wedding

Have you ever been to a wedding that involves: slack-rope walking, juggling, rings of burning fire, stilt walking, opera singing, balloon arches and loads of unicycles?

Gwendolyn and George were married on 10 August 2007 on the Royal Mile, and it was not in the plush registrars office on George IV Bridge.

Gwendolyn Thomson and George Fuller are street performers who met back at the 2004 Fringe. George was clowning around in Herbie Treeheads Dinosaur Circus and Gwendolyn was a miracle working sound engineer at Pod Deco.

The bride got changed in a sack and there were lots of unicycles and a giant fire finale.  The ceremony was opposite the Fringe Shop on the Royal Mile and the whole of Edinburgh was invited to this wedding.
